A 20-year-old man, Mohammed Bello, has been sentenced to 25 years in prison for his role in a highway robbery. The incident happened near Gomoa Buduatta on the Kasoa-Winneba road. Bello and four other suspects attacked drivers and passengers, stealing phones, gadgets, and cash.
Bello was arrested on July 6, 2025, while trying to flee the scene. Police found him with stolen items, including phones, cash, and personal belongings. He was taken to court, where he admitted to the crime and was sentenced to 25 years in prison with hard labor.

I just hope there are enough facilities within the prison wall to cater for his education and to make him useful to the society, not to be become another sophisticated criminal that can unleash more terror to innocent people.
