Music Exec and Husband Found Shot Dead

 

Robin Kaye, a longtime music supervisor for the popular TV show "American Idol," and her husband Thomas Deluca, were tragically found murdered in their Encino, California home on July 14, 2025. 

The couple, both 70 years old, were discovered fatally shot in the head inside their $5 million mansion.

 The Los Angeles Police Department discovered the bodies during a welfare check after the couple hadn't been heard from in four days 

Robin Kaye had been working with "American Idol" since 2009, overseeing the musical aspects of the show. Her work contributed significantly to the program's success, making her a beloved figure in the entertainment industry.
