Who will finally help 39-year-old Jermaine Thomas?

"This is a question that kept coming back as I kept thinking about this guy called Jermaine Thomas,  the father a US soldier and the mother a Kenyan National. If Thomas had focused more on his career, life, and future before Trump became the US president... things wouldn't have gone awry as they are now.

According to the news, "It was when he was in his early 20s in 2008 that he first considered that he might not be an American citizen after an arrest on drug possession charges. He had been picked up by Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) authorities, but his father explained his situation, leading to his release.

Reportedly, his visa documents had listed him as a Jamaican citizen despite his father being a US citizen. In 2013, he received a notice from Homeland Security, once again referring to him as a Jamaican citizen who had committed crimes in the US and thus was subject to deportation.

" My final take on this... Thomas can still make something reasonable out of his life because he is a young chap with lots of opportunities, even in deportation also he did not read between the lines, in 2013 when he was declared a Jamaican cictizen, maybe his father's connections as a US army save the day.

Being a US citizen is not a ticket to future success. He could get his life back on track by consulting immigration lawyers; something can be done even if he's a Jamaican citizen, provided he has renounced his life of crime."
